Free admission to the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire de Provence - Grasse
The Musée d'Art et d'Histoire de Provence is housed in the Hôtel de Clapiers-Cabris.
It houses collections tracing daily life in eastern Provence from prehistoric times, as well as fine and decorative arts from the 17th century to the first half of the 20th century.
The museum highlights regional archaeology and popular arts, and presents a variety of artistic and craft works. It traces the history of eastern Provence, highlighting traditions rooted in daily life that have helped forge strong local identities. The mansion retains its original layout, with reconstructions of living rooms and educational exhibits on three levels opening onto the garden.
