Grower for a day

Two lovers of the land and its scents, Audrey (from a family of pickers going back 4 generations) and Thierry BORTOLINI (a gardener who has worked in some of the finest private gardens in the Mediterranean), will be opening the doors of their 18th-century family estate, where they grow fragrant plants: the Mas de l'Olivine in Peymeinade (10 minutes from Grasse, in the PACA region).

Programme: from 9.30am to 4.30pm
- 9.30am: welcome with coffee/tea/organic juice. Brioche with flower preserves from the estate;
- Explanation of the programme: tailored to the day's priorities, the season and the weather;
- Presentation of an Estate T-shirt;
- history of the estate ;
- Flower picking (subject to flowering) ;
- plant observation ;
- behind-the-scenes look at the estate;
- other activities of the day ;
- discussion and discovery of the biodiversity of Mediterranean plants;
- 1.00 pm: picnic on your own (fridge and microwave available);
- 2.00 pm: make a confection using flowers from the estate (you will go home with a sample of the day's production);
- Guided tour of the perfume plants;
- 4.30pm: end of the day
