Charles Nègre multimedia library
The Charles Nègre Mediatheque is not only a center for culture and learning, but also for resources, leisure, experimentation and co-construction.
Located in the heart of Grasse's historic centre, the 3,363 m2 building with its bold lines will surprise you with its imposing surface area and resolutely modern architecture.
Dedicated to the world of images and paying homage to the Grasse photographer of the same name, the Charles Nègre Media Library has 7 floors, 5 of which are open to the public, and offers themed areas giving free access to a variety of media. It offers a unique setting bathed in light in which to read, work, watch a film, listen to music, use a computer, visit an exhibition or meet up with friends over a coffee.
This new cultural facility offers a varied collection of novels, comic books, art books, video games, DVDs and CDs/vinyl for children and adults. Dive into different worlds: early childhood, poetry, fine art, current affairs, fiction, encyclopaedias, music, cinema, video games, comics, etc.
This public cultural facility is free and open to all local residents.
